Where is it?

The International Lisp Conference 2012 is being held on Miyakomesse -- 9-1, Okazaki Seisyoji-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, 606-8343. Close to Heian Jingu Shrine, Okazaki Park, National Musium of Modern Art and other historic objects.

All tutorials and presentations will be held in exhibition floor space or conference rooms.

How will I get there?

First, of course you must come to Kyoto. And follow the access map to Miyakomesse, please.

If you are android user and you recognize Japanese character, I recommend you to install Jorudan 乗換案内. It will be very helpful when you find transfer in Japan.(For iPhone user, I'm sorry, I don't know.)

Where can I stay?

The ALU has arranged for a travel agency to book rooms at the following hotels. You are not required to book through the ALU, but be sure to book early – the conference is during a popular travel season. Please follow our on-line registration form if you'd like to reserve one of these hotels.

Of course you could find Ryokan from various internet sites, if you'd like.

But what will I wear?

Autumn Kyoto has a lovely climate. It is a season of Autumn leaf color. You may go for a walk in Ginkaku-ji and Philosopher's Walk. Regional climate summaries and current weather forecasts should help you to dress appropriately.

What will I eat?

Nabemono or Kaiseki with Yuba and Kyoto Vegetables are most famous. Also Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki are popular among people from overseas.

We also recommend you to visit Nishiki Market.
