The International Lisp Conference 2005 is being held on the campus of Stanford University located in California's Bay Area. All tutorials and presentations will be held in classroom space in the beautiful and centrally located Main Quad. Our sessions will be located in the Geology and Language corners, situated in areas H-7 and H-8 on this campus map.
Stanford is well serviced by three regional airports: San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland; as well as California Highways 101 and 280. More specific directions to Stanford are available on-line.
The Association of Lisp Users has reserved a limited number of rooms at Stanford's Florence Moore dormitory residence, a 10 minute walk from the conference venue. This residence is reserved exclusively for adult summer programs, and are the closest lodgings to the conference meeting space. Stanford is offering a daily rate of $80.40. Each night's stay includes breakfast and lunch served in a Stanford dining hall, also reserved for adult summer programs. (The food served at Stanford is really quite good.)
The Bay Area has a mild climate all year round. Regional climate summaries and current weather forecasts should help you to dress appropriately.
