I am submitting a paper to be included in the International Lisp Conference proceedings. What formatting guidelines should I follow?
Contributions should be transmitted electronically with unnumbered pages in PDF or Microsoft Word. Postscript is also acceptable. Contributions longer than one page must be single spaced. For typeset material, 10 or 11 point font is recommended with interline spacing of no more than 2 pt. Regardless of the paper size your article is formatted for, the entire text for each page must fit within a box of 7" (17.5 cm) by 9" (23 cm); contributions that do not conform to these requirements cannot be accepted. There should be no page headings, footings, or page numbers, but submissions should be numbered in pencil on the back of each page. Legibility is key to acceptance for printed papers.
The limit is 10 pages for technical submissions; additional pages are often allowed for language definitions. Authors are encouraged to make efficient use of page space, while paying close attention to the margin and legibility requirements noted above. All technical contributions must include the following on the first page: the names of all authors and the mailing address of at least one; a list of relevant keywords for the article; and a brief (100 words maximum) abstract.
Who will be publishing the International Lisp Conference proceedings?
The Association of Lisp Users will be publishing the International Lisp Conference proceedings. It is extremely important that all authors submit their papers before the May 25 deadline; it is our intention to distribute the proceedings in print form to all pre-registered attendees during the conference.
