Re: Credit Card Billing for the ILC
Due
to the lead times, bank requirements, and expense of setting up a merchant
services account with our bank, the Association of Lisp Users hasconcluded that
we will not be able to process credit cards for the upcoming International Lisp
Conference. In exploring our options, we contacted our primary vendor sponsors,
Franz, Inc. and Xanalys, Inc., to discuss the possibility of having one of them
process these payments. Both graciously offered support. After discussion, we
have decided to accept Franz’s offer to assist us, primarily because they are
local to the conference site and will be able to assist in processing walk-in
registrations.
We will be processing your credit card in the next few business days. If you do not want your credit card processed by Franz (for the ALU), please contact us immediately and send a check or money order (drawn on a U.S. bank).
